Richard J. Broeckelman Jr., 72, of Stoutland, was born May 18, 1951, in Clinton, Ind. to Richard J. Broeckelman Sr. and Mary Ann Williams Broeckelman. He is survived by his wife Mary; three children, Ann Lashley and her husband Todd of Camdenton, Candida Seibert and her husband Brian of Eldridge, and Richard Broeckelman of Stoutland; six grandchildren and one great-grandson on the way; one brother, Allen Broeckelman of Lebanon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur Alexander of Richland, James Alexander and his wife Freida of Lebanon, Roy Alexander and his wife Janice of Richland, and Johnny Alexander and his wife Marsha, of Richland. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Ryan Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in Stoutland Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested to American Cancer Society for cancer research.
