Route 64 to close for bridge replacement

Posted
Missouri Route 64 near Lebanon is set to close in early June to replace the Goodwin Hollow Creek Bridge. Construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close the bridge to all traffic beginning on Monday, June 10, according to MoDOT.  “Built in 1931, the bridge is narrower than the existing roadway and the deck and barriers are showing signs it is nearing the end of its life cycle. The new structure will be wider with updated bridge barriers and a curve east of the bridge will be realigned to improve safety,” moDOT said in a press release Tuesday.
