Posted

Sharon Bryant, daughter of Clyde Montgomery and Ruby (Tilley) Montgomery, was born on March 14, 1934, in Bado, Missouri  and departed this life December 23, 2023, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-nine.

On May 6, 1952, Sharon married the love of her life Lloyd L. Bryant. Together they shared thirty-five blessed years of marriage, until his passing on March 22, 1988. To this union were five children.

Sharon prided herself in being a homemaker, she took pride in all her life’s work. Apart from her home life, she had worked at Ft. Leonard Wood General Hospital for ten years as a nursing assistant, and the Pulaski County Library for five years until she retired. In her retirement she enjoyed reading as much as her spare time would allow, quilting, and playing cards with her friends at the Warren Senior Center. However, time spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren was most precious to her, to them she was “Granny B” but to her they were everything.

Sharon is survived by four children, Clarke Bryant, James Bryant and wife Kathy, Franklin Bryant and wife Diana, Roxanna Webster and husband Mike; one sister, Rose Brown; five grandchildren, Lindsey Dillon and husband Matt, Charlie Rose Speer and husband Chris, Nicole Bryant, Michelle Bryant, Jacob Bryant Brown and wife Crystal; four great-grandchildren, Issaiha Brown, Meagan Tompson, Jailyn Brown and Gabriel Brown, other relatives and many dear friends.

Those preceding Sharon in death include her parents, Husband Lloyd Bryant, one son Michael Bryant, and two brothers Verlyn and Jim Montgomery.

Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery with a private family only graveside service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
