Susan Rebecca Lindsey, 64, of Lebanon, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 10, 1957, in Richmond, Calif. to Walter Lavert and Patsy Lou Pirate Slater.
On June 12, 1982, she married Kenneth Wayne Lindsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kathleen Cecilia Slater.
After graduating from high school, Susan obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Grand Canyon College. She was also working on her Master’s Degree. She taught at Richland High School for many years. In her free time she enjoyed riding motorcycles with Ken. She also enjoyed the mission trips she was able to go on over the years. However, time spent with her family was what she treasured most.
Susan was a longtime member of Lebanon First Assembly, where she also served on the Praise Team for many years.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth; one daughter, Kelly Patricia Blattel and her husband Tyler of Lebanon; one sister, Cynthia Louise Ferrell of Yuma, Ariz.; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Susan Rebecca Lindsey were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Sign the guestbook at www.shadelscolonialchapel.com.
