Swim team going strong

After competing in the Last Chance Meet in Springfield, the Lebanon High School boys’ varsity swim team medley relay team of senior Thomas Cleveland, freshman Dakota Windsor, sophomore Caleb Whittington, and junior Thomas Butler set a new school record, meeting the state consideration time and rank 44th fastest time in the state, according to head coach David Krev.

The 400 freestyle relay of Whittington, sophomore Greg Keen, Cleveland,and Butler also set a school record, met the state consideration time grabbing the 51st position in the state. 

The team’s record holding 200 free relay of Whittington, sophomore Ayden Carr, Keen, and Windsor have also meet the state consideration time, ranking 44th.  Dakota Windsor is ranked 28th in the 100 butterfly and 34th in the 200 Individual medley.  Caleb Whittington is ranked 34th in the 100 butterfly and 59th in the 200 freestyle. All still have a chance to advance to the state meet next week, Krev mentioned.
