Bertram Eugene (“Gene”) True, 94, of Buffalo, was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Buffalo to Roy A. True and Bethel (Owensby) True and died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. He is survived by his children, Jeanine and Roy (Maki) True; three grandchildren, and by sisters-in-law Anita (Carter) Clarkston and Wanda (Woodall) Clarkston. Visitation is at 1 p.m. and the funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Cantlon- Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023.
