Clara Joy Dearmon (née Carson Watkins), aged 86, passed away on June 12, 2024, in St. Cloud, Florida. Born on August 31, 1937, in Steele, Missouri, Clara was a beacon of kindness and generosity, always ready to assist those in need.

Clara cherished her role as a grandmother more than any other, dedicating her life to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was playing BINGO, a hobby she was always eager to enjoy. Throughout her life, she was actively involved in numerous fundraisers and community services. Chances are you donated to one of her many charities... because she chatted away till you wrote a check!

Professionally, Clara was a self-employed entrepreneur, owning several businesses and real estate investments alongside her former husband, Howard Dearmon Sr. She was also a talented artist and an avid seamstress, bringing beauty and creativity to her community.

A devoted Christian, Clara was an active member of several church homes, where she enjoyed the fellowship and community spirit.

Clara is survived by her children, Ben Dearmon of Lebanon, MO, Debra Janes (Jimmie) of Couch, MO, James Dearmon (Sherri) of Medford, OR, Judith Dearmon (formerly Scott) of Kissimmee, FL, and stepdaughter Jennifer Meiners (Jamie) of Brownsville, KY. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren-Shane, Renee, Katie, Howard, Christopher , Wyatt, Crystal , and Jack. She adored her six great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Aaliyah, Evan, Jordan, Emmalee and Ian. Clara was preceded in death by her siblings and parents.
