Betty Jean Bays, 81, of Columbia, formerly of Waynesville, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, in her home. She is survived by three children, Michael Ballard of Strafford, Deborah Stafford of Columbia, and Kathleen Shealy; six grandchildren, Michael Ballard Jr. (Melissa) of Strafford, Destiny Seamer of Willard, Jessi Schreiber (Robert) of Columbia, Kristin Stafford of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., John Knoblauch of Columbia, and Jennifer Knoblauch of Columbia; eight great-grandchildren, Joshuah, Aubree, Aeriona, Liah, Austin, Kyle, Ethan, and Morgan; one great-great-grandchild, River; one sister, Ollie Koch of Columbia; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, in the Buckhorn Cemetery of Waynesville.
