Betty Ruth Douglas, 87 of Richland, died Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the Richland Care Center of Richland.
She is survived by seven children, Susan Douglas of Salt Lake City, Utah, Stephany Lawrence (Jimmy) of Independence, Sandra Sheehan (John) of Madison, Wis., Sonia Douglas of Pensacola, Fla., William Douglas, Jr. of Richland, Sharon Watkins (Ronald) of Gadsden, Ala. and Stephen Douglas (Missy) of Richland; thirty grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; four siblings, Gladys Smith of Higginsville, George Henry Meyer, Jr. of Eldridge, Harry Meyer of Lebanon, and Aleta Duncan of Lebanon; four foster children whom she raised, Rosie, Kenny, Sylvia, and Jeannie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, in the Memorial Chapel of Richland. Burial was in the Elm Grove Cemetery of Richland.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, in the Memorial Chapel of Richland.
