Brian Keith Scudder, 62, of Marshfield, was born March 6, 1961, in Covington, Ky. to Edwin and Mildred (Ballinger) Scudder and died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, in Cox South Hospital in Springfield. He is survived by his wife Abigael Scudder of the home; five children, Maegan Burkart of Metamora, Ind., Rachel Scudder of Cincinnati, Ohio, Duncan Scudder of Cincinnati, Ohio, Luke Scudder (Naomi), of Knoxville, Tenn., and Levi Scudder of Knoxville, Tenn.; siblings, Linda Scudder of Kentucky, Dave Scudder of Hamilton, Ohio, Tony Scudder of South Carolina, Gary Scudder of Kentucky, Regina Mansour of West Chester, Ohio, and Eddie Scudder of Cincinnati, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at Prospect Cemetery near Niangua, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday in the funeral chapel.
