Carol Lou Carson, 71, of Dixon, was born Dec. 28, 1952, at Waynesville to Frank Everett and June Dorothy (Marso) Campbell and died Thursday, June 6, 2024, in the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinic in Columbia.
She is survived by her children, Kirk Carson of Bentonville, Ark., Kimberly Arnold and husband Anthony of Rolla; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; her companion, Mike Bexten of Freeburg; siblings, Tom Campbell and wife Pat of Waynesville, Wanda Gray and husband Harry, and Shirley Dickerson, all of Dixon.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Dixon with the Rev. Gary Day officiating. Burial was in Dixon Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Dixon Scholarship Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
