Christopher Veryl Bell, known affectionately as Chris, passed away on June 23, 2024, in Marionville, Missouri. Born on April 16, 1987, in Springfield, Missouri, Greene County. Chris was a friend to many, cherished member of his community, and a devoted father and son.
Chris graduated from Conway High School before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Gaming Software Development from Westwood College in Denver, Colorado. He was employed by Amazon as a process assistant supervisor, where he was respected for his work ethic and leadership.
Chris was passionate about the outdoors. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming, and weight training, with his beloved son, Breckin. These moments were cherished deeply by both father and son, creating lasting memories.
Chris is survived by his wife, Desiree (Magdziaz) Bell of Springfield, Missouri; his son, Breckin Bell of Republic, Missouri; his mother, Helen Marie Feryo of Conway, Missouri; his sister, Michelle Perkins of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his brother, Michael Parson of Flovilla, Georgia; and his beloved, Miranda.
He was preceded in death by his father, Veryl Leon Bell; his paternal grandparents, Arthur Bell Jr. and Darlene (McCandless) Bell; his maternal grandparents, Clifton Abbott Smith and Frances Lorene (Walden) Smith; and his sister, Janieve Elaine Alley.
A Celebration of Life service was held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Bennett Spring Church of God. In lieu of flowers, contributions to an educational fund for his son, Breckin, may be made through Venmo to @Helen-Feryo. These contributions will honor Chris’ legacy by supporting his son’s future education, a cause close to his heart.
