Posted
What was at first reported as a hazardous material spill Sunday morning and slowed traffic near the 127 overpass at I-44 was later found to be cooking oil, according to the Lebanon Fire Department. Lebanon City officials reported on Facebook that there was no danger to the public and the incident was cleared at about 11:50 a.m. Lebanon Fire Chief Sam Schneider said firefighters were dispatched to the scene near Big Whiskey’s to investigate a hazardous material spill.
