Marijuana vote off November ballot

Posted
The Lebanon City Council has voted to repeal an ordinance that had set a November election vote on banning the sale of recreational marijuana in the city. The action, taken at Monday’s Council meeting, means the election will not be held and marijuana will continue to be sold in Lebanon. The ordinance was passed in January 2023 shortly after Missouri voters legalized recreational marijuana in the state. For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
