Danny E. Cook, 70, of Marshfield, was born Jan. 24, 1953, in Springfield to Rellis Raymond Cook and Vena (Ivie) Cook and died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023. He is survived by his wife Jana of the home; son, Danny W. Cook and his wife Lynnette of Fordland; daughter, LeAnn Essary and significant other, Stephen Goings of Marshfield; two grandchildren; brother, Richard Cook (Leisa); brother-in-law, Wayne Boyce; four sisters-in-law, Mary Willis Holden (Bob), Sue Wright (Lyle), Jane Bland (Galen), and Sherri Boyce. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Missouri Fox Trotters Horse Breed Association Youth Program. Please make checks payable to MFTHBA and in the memo add “Youth Program.’’
