The Lebanon football team’s season continued Friday night as the Yellowjackets fell to undefeated Nixa 56-12 at Jacket Stadium. Despite the loss, senior Jax Glendenning provided a bright spot by becoming the all-time leading rusher in Lebanon football history. Glendenning set the new rushing record with a 65-yard touchdown run with 5:24 remaining in the third quarter, surpassing John Berry’s previous mark of 4,146 career yards. The senior running back credited his success to his teammates and coaches after the game. “I never saw that record as attainable until after my sophomore year,” Glendenning said. “I’ve got to give credit to God, my offensive line, my coaches, and all the players who blocked for me over the years. God is good.” For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
