His legacy: Jaden’s Mission works to prevent reckless driving

On September 6, Jasha Conner and her family furthered the legacy of her son, Jaden, in two ways. One was the dedication of the Jaden Conner Memorial Batting Cages in Atchley Park, where he played baseball. The other was the announcement that Jaden’s Mission would be expanding its efforts to prevent reckless driving deaths. “His death is not in vain,” Jasha Conner said. After her son was killed in a reckless driving accident in 2020, Jasha Conner began the nonprofit Jaden’s Mission with the goal of educating parents and students alike on the dangers of driving recklessly as well as encouraging alternative outlets for youths to spend their time.
