Transformation is the name of the game for the Lebanon R-3 High School Activities Department.
During the department’s fall sports update to the Rotary Club on Thursday, Band Director Aaron Stewart and Activities Director Will Christian gave updates on the district’s programming and their plans for the school year.
While describing the band’s upcoming marching competitions of Valhalla, Branson, and Carthage amid other activities for the band, Stewart compared the nature of band performances to golf. The goal, he said, was not to beat another band, but to give the best performance against a standard.
