Hollis Everett Stanford, 90, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Lebanon, was born Nov. 15, 1933 in Middleton, Texas and died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, in Katy, Texas. He is survived by one son, James Stanford of Lebanon; two daughters, Vickie Parrish and her husband Michael of Holden, and Karen Carver, of Katy, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild on the way; 30 great-great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Charles Lynn Bullard officiating. Burial with military honors was at noon Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at Fort Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.
