Janis Charlene Tanner, 69, of Crocker, was born June 3, 1954, at Waynesville to William Charles and Mabel Loraine (Knox) Pummill and died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Candra and Gordon Moss of Waynesville; her sister, Linda Sharp of Bedford, Texas; also four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Crocker Christian Church under the direction of Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home of Crocker.
