Jimmie Dwane “Jim” Bales, 82 of Waynesville, longtime owner of Bales Construction, Inc., died Monday, May 13, 2024, in his home.

He is survived by his wife: Charlas Bales of the home; two children, J.D. Bales (June) of Waynesville, and Connie Trower (Terry) of Waynesville; six grandchildren: Courtney Bales (Holley Kapperman) of Springfield, Cash Foster of Lake Ozarks, Jared Bales (Chrissy) of Stockton, Bailey Foster (Ky Skidmore) of Springfield, Isabel “Izzy” Trower of Waynesville, and Truman Trower of Savannah, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Dean Bales, Max Bales, and Josie Bales; one brother: Dick Bales (Joan) of Waynesville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Funeral Celebration was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the Faith Baptist Church of Waynesville, Burial was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the Faith Baptist Church of Waynesville.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jim Bales to the Faith Baptist Church and may be left at the church or at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert
