KJEL Radio laid fired its on-air staff on Tuesday, according to former employees and their associates. The station, known for its local information and sports coverage, is reported by former employees to be shifting to automated broadcasts.
KJJEL is owned by Alpha Media LLC, which operates in four Missouri radio markets, one of which includes the Lebanon/Waynesville area.
