SSG (Ret) Larry Edward McKim, 76, of Waynesville, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, in his home.
He is survived by his wife Julia “Judy’’ McKim of the home; daughter, Phyllis “Lynn’’ Shindel (Peter) of Zephyrhills, Fla.; two grandchildren, Andrew Trotter of Spartansburg, S.C. and Courtney Udan of Mishawaka, Ind.; three sisters, Donna Stiver (Larry) of Leavenworth, Ind., Irma Lewis of Corydon, Ind., and Ruth McLemore of Lacey, Wash.; a number of nieces and nephews and grandnieces; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with military honors followed in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Larry McKim and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
