Lebanon Police announce community support initiative

The Lebanon Police Department on Thursday announced the launch of what was called the "Community Support Initiative," a program aimed at addressing homelessness, mental health, and addiction in the community. According to a city press release, “This initiative underscores our commitment to safety and support for all residents, including business and property owners impacted by violations of pedestrian safety and trespassing ordinances.” Police Chief Jerry Harrison emphasized the importance of community involvement in addressing these situations.
