NICK E. O’QUINN

Nick E. O’Quinn, 79, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023.

He was born Dec. 6, 1943, in Kansas City, Kan. to Charles Edwin and Fern Lorraine Layman O’Quinn.

On June 15, 1963, he was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Eldon.

Nick attended school in Lebanon. He worked at Mid Am Dairy for many years. He then worked for Lebanon Petroleum Equipment Company. He was the owner and operator of O’Quinn Excavating and O’Quinn Rentals. Nick was also a longtime dairy farm, working sun up to sun down with the daily chores of the farm. He was also a member of Lebanon Elks Lodge No. 2557.

He was a member of White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife Barbara; one son, Steven O’Quinn and his wife Kenda, two daughters, Gina Ann Conner and her husband Rick and Tracy Jo O’Quinn and her  husband Brian Bunch, all of Lebanon; nine grandchildren, Nikki Willbanks and her husband David, Samantha Jo Woodruff and her husband David, Faith Breshears and her husband Tytus, Grace Stewart and her husband Bryan, Harli, Merci and Reign O’Quinn, Damien O’Quinn and Brianna Caldwell and her husband Emmitt; one sister, Willa O’Quinn of Kansas City; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Nick E. O’Quinn will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with David Douglas officiating. There is no scheduled burial. His body is to be cremated following the service.
