Paul Guy Rice, 88, of Waynesville, a longtime local business owner, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, in his home.
He is survived by his wife Janice Rice of the home; four children, Brad Rice (Mary) of Osage Beach, Teresa Layman (Roger) of Waynesville, Rob Rice (Tammy) of Waynesville, and Dana Mead (Brian) of Laquey; five grandchildren, Andy Smith (Barb) of Waynesville, Rachel Warrick (Justin) of Fort Dix, N.J., Tara Posluszny (Evan) of St. Robert, Danielle Chavez (Fernando) of Laquey, and Travis Rice of Osage Beach; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Ollie, Ezekiel, and Elaine; nephews, Eddie Kubisiak of Waynesville, and Cary Hansen of Dixon; sisters-in-law, Susan Cullison of Waynesville, and Lelia Williams of Parsons, Kan.; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
