Robert C. Fields Jr., 89, of Springfield, formerly of Lebanon, was born Oct. 12, 1934, in Lebanon to Robert C. Fields Sr. and Frances Reynolds Fields, and died Dec. 9, 2023. He is survived by his wife Karen Fields; a son Lee of Texas and a daughter, Shannon Fields and her husband David Thomas, of Rockville, Md., also a number of grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, in the Chapel of the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, in Springfield, under the direction Gorman-Scharp Funeral Home of Springfield.
