Ruth Louise Detherow, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Marshfield, was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Marshfield, to Fred Allen and Jessie Mae (Montgomery) Rost and died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. in Marshfield. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Elkland. Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday in the funeral home.
