Sandra K. Carsten, 69, of Springfield, was born May 16, 1954, and died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023. She is survived by two daughters, Meredith Johnston (David) and Anitra Whitlinger (Jeff); five stepchildren, Jerry Carsten Jr. (Vickie), Jackie Carsten, Carrie Hinkle (Doug), Sheila Liddle (Todd), and Pamela Ward; two grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren. Private family services will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023. Burial will be at Amity Cemetery near Rader, under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Amity Cemetery or the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Sandra K. Carsten.
