SFC (Ret.) Robert Moss, 56, of St. Robert, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Moss of the home in St. Robert; three children, Christy Olson (Taylor) of St. Robert, Sommer Lord (Tim) of Waynesville, and Meghan Chavez (Andrew) of St. Robert; four grandchildren, Carter Bansemer, Cohen Olson, Noah Huston, and Novalei Lord; his parents, Norman and Lina Moss of St. Robert; a sister, Tina Fisher (Marty) of Gerrarvastown, W.V.; a brother, Donnie Knepper (Angel) of Hedgesville, W.V.; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, in St. Robert Church of God. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. in the St. Robert Church of God. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Robert Moss and may be left at the funeral home.
