With the arrival of summer, some extreme temperatures were in the forecast for Laclede County in the coming week.
A high temperature of 92 degrees was forecast for Saturday and Sunday by the National Weather Service in Springfield, with a high of 95 degrees predicted on Monday.
Indoor cooling centers are available for people wanting to get out of the heat.
