Federal and state USDA officials recognized and toured Ice Cream Factory’s Lebanon facility Tuesday. The purpose of the visit was to recognize ICF’s use of grants through the USDA’s Rural Development Rural Energy for America Program, according to a May 22 press release.
“Our focus has been simple – by putting federal resources in the hands of communities, companies, and coalitions that have a proven track record of doing right by our rural areas – we are making huge strides each and every day,” USDA Rural Development Missouri State Director Wilkens said in the release.. “I tell folks often that the proof is in the pudding – but today it’s in the ice cream,”
