VIVIAN ROSE FOUST

Vivian Rose Foust, 92, of Conway, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, in Conway.

She was born Easter Sunday, April 5, 1931, in Sterling, Colo. to George Edward and Anna Eleanor Larimore.

On March 26, 1949, she was united in marriage to Oral W. Foust.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; her husband Oral on April 8, 2007; one daughter, Connie Morgan; one grandson, Travis Harpham; one brother, James Larimore; and two sisters, Wilma Larimore and Maudie Fellin.

Vivian was the epitome of homemaker. The needs of her family came first. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She was her husband Oral’s partner on the dairy farm and keeper of the garden. She canned for the family and cared for her in-laws when their health was failing. She enjoyed completing jigsaw and crossword puzzles and was known for her gooseberry pies that she provided at every church dinner. Time spent and memories shared with her family is what she treasured most.

She was a longtime, active and faithful member of Washington Christian Church.

Vivian is survived by one son, Mike Foust and his wife Julie of Conway; six daughters, Vicky Powell and her husband Ken of Lebanon, Beverly Bowman and her husband Don of Conway, Dottie Sharp and her husband David of Phillipsburg, Debbie Harpham and her husband David of Conway, Terri Gerhart and her husband Garry of Washington, Mo. and Becky Ruble and her husband Daryn of Lebanon; son-in-law, J.R. Morgan of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren, Pam Bakeberg, Jon Morgan and his wife Dana, Robby Barrett, Chris Bowman and his wife Erin, Brian Bowman and his wife Nicki, Angela Anderson and her husband Scott, Andrea Sharp, Sara Shelton and her husband Geoff, Adam Sharp and his wife Ashley, Ashley Mahan and her husband Brett, Lydia Gerhart, Alex Gerhart and his wife Kate, Phillip Foust and his wife Kaitlin, Courtney Jones and her husband Caleb, Daniel Foust, Lauryn Ruble and Madelyn Ruble; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Vivian Rose Foust will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Washington Christian Church with Bob Leinbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested to Washington Cemetery.
