Arica Lynn O’Quinn, 27, of Springfield, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 1, 1995, in Kansas City to Jerry Lynn and Carla Jean Gillham O’Quinn.
Arica was preceded in death by her infant brother, Clinton; her paternal grandparents, Jim and June O’Quinn and by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Leola Gillham.
She graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 2014. She attended Missouri State University and later OTC, where she received an Associate of Arts degree. She recently graduated from Paul Mitchell The School, after completing their Esthetician Program.
She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Carla Jean (Jeanie) O’Quinn of Lebanon; her sister, Angela Harshman and her husband Adam of Springfield; nephews and niece, Braden, Caleb and Norah Harshman; by her half siblings, David, Christina and Amber Mendez and their families; many other special aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Arica O’Quinn will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, at Southern Heights Christian Church with Kyle Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Competition Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation.
