Betty Gene Austin, 93, of Houston, was born May 22, 1930, and died Sunday, March 31, 2024. She is survived by two children, John Austin and Caroline Austin of the home; a number of grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home in Houston with burial in Rock Springs Cemetery.
