Dakota Lynn Cook, 29, of Springfield, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, in Springfield.
He was born June 16, 1994, in Pampa, Texas, to Michael Cook and Darlene Ruble Cook.
Dakota was in an internship for dental hygienist at Jordan Valley Health in Springfield. He enjoyed skateboarding, hunting and fishing, camping and anything outdoors, and enjoyed music of all kinds. Dakota was a proud Texan and followed the Houston Astros. He had a huge heart for helping people. He loved time spent with family and friends, and will be deeply missed.
Dakota is survived by his mother, Darlene Murrell and her husband Shane of Lebanon; father, Mike Cook of Lebanon; children: Connor, Bailee, Bryson and Maddox; siblings: Jessica and John, Jonathan, Trevan and Komal, Brandon and Ledzep, Trace and Janelle, and twin brother, Dalton and his wife Amber; significant other, Sarah Primm; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation for Dakota Lynn Cook will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
