David Freeman George Jr., 59, of Phillipsburg was born June 4, 1964, and died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, in his home. He is survived by his oldest son, Matthew George (Brittney); his two daughters, Kourtney George Stines (Gary) and Kyleigh George, all of Elizabethtown, Tenn.; his sons, Dakota George, Levi George and Jacob George, all of Lebanon; his parents, Helen Mullis and her husband Fred of Beaufort; his father, David F. George Sr. and his wife Maryanne of Bourbon; his brother, Steve George (Lura) of Lebanon; his sister, Lisa George of Beaufort; five grandchildren; the mother of his three youngest children, Tanya Peterson of Lebanon, and son, Harley Peterson, whom he raised as his own of Lbanon; the mother of his three oldest children, Beckie Nidiffer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. in the funeral home. A memorial has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
