David Willard Black, 90, of Marshfield, was born Oct. 16, 1932, in McCool, Miss. to James Collins and Violet Arnette (Eakin) Black and died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023. He is survived by four children, Connie Foster (George), Tami Black, Tom Black (Kathy), and Troy Black (Carrie); 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Reba Spell. Funeral services for David Willard Black will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Timber Ridge Cemetery.
