SGM (Ret) Dewey Eugene “Gene” Du Bose, 81 of Waynesville, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in his home.
SGM (Ret) Du Bose is survived by his wife Rebecca Du Bose of the home; four children, Wayne Du Bose (Michelle) of Madrin, Iowa, Michell Du Bose of Wasilla, Alaska, Julie Dougherty (John) of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Sandra Larrington (Timothy) of Waynesville; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of SGM (Ret) Gene Du Bose and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
