Ellis Newton Nichols, 99, of Marshfield was born Nov. 6, 1923, in Hartville to Foster and Ocie (Ellis) Nichols and died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, at Webco Manor in Marshfield. He is survived by two sons, Wayne Nichols of Lebanon and Stanley “Buck’’ Nichols and wife Lynda of Marshfield; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, in Marshfield Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. of Marshfield.
