FLOYD E. McNEELEY

Floyd E. McNeeley was born June 4, 1963 in Maryville to Ronald McNeeley and Treva June Peters. He passed into eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in his home in Grovespring. At the time of his passing, Floyd was sixty years, four months and seventeen days of age.

Floyd was raised in Missouri and was known to be a very protective brother. He was one of five children and family was everything to him.

All who knew Floyd say he was a very hard worker and was with Independent Stave Company for several years as well as Tri-County Docks for seventeen years.

In his spare time, he liked to watch wrestling, boxing and MMA.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Shonda McNeely of Hopkins; a close friend, Mary Blankenship of Grovespring; his children, Michael McNeeley of Hopkins, Kaleigh Langley and husband, Harold of Maryville, Cynthia Schrauger and Jessica Rector, both of Camdenton; his grandchildren, Caly Langley, Kloey Langley, Riley Woods, Kamryn Woods, Joseph Pisero, and many more; and his siblings, Lonnie McNeeley of Lebanon, David McNeeley of Grovespring, and Barbara Tanner of Florida; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Treva and his sister, Trena Williams.

One of Floyd’s favorite hobbies was rabbit hunting with his Beagles and collecting knives.

He will be remembered for his wonderful work ethic and the love he had for his family. Floyd’s loyalty will be forever etched on the lives of those he touched.

All services will be private.
