Frances Willard Barnes, 87, of Montreal, was born Feb. 7, 1936, near Stoutland, to Lafe Anton and Dorothy Mae Barnes and died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in Montreal. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Lorraine Barnes; children, Beth (Matt) Bedinghaus, John (Carl) Barnes, Danny (Paula) Rogers, Marilyn (Mike) Trimble, Brenda (Doug) Yakle; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Marshall, Helen Steen and Edith Pelser; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Baranowski, Edith Hurley, Norma Avery, Chris Baranowski, Dee and Vivian Baranowski; several half brothers, and half sisters. Funeral services for Frances Willard Barnes will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation was Tuesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
