Heinz Guenther Schaetzke, 74, of Waukegan, Ill., a United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal veteran, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023, in his brother’s home in Lebanon.
He is survived by two brothers, Hans Schaetzke of Lebanon and Arno Schaetzke (Betty) of Seattle, Wash.; other relatives and friends.
Graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Heinz Schaetzker and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
