James “Jimmy’’ Hammond, 69, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in his home. He is survived by his wife Avis of the home, and six sons, Jeremy Ross and wife Andrea of Lebanon, Jason Ross and wife Jennifer of Springfield, Russell Sattler and wife Christie of Bernicia, Calif., John Marwick and wife Jessica of Vallejo, Calif., Dennis Ross and wife Lisa of Eugene, Ore., and Greg Marwick and wife Gina of Benicia, Calif.; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Ellen Stoner of Aberdene, Wash. and Jill Jackson of Madera, Califf. Funeral services for James “Jimmy’’ Hammond will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lebanon. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2023, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society and donations may be left at the funeral home.
