John Laverne Davis, 77, of Hartville, was born May 26, 1946, in Hartville to Jacob Solomon (Jake) Davis and Verna Bolian Davis and died Saturday, May 11, 2024, at The Cottages assisted living home in Shawnee, Kan.
He is survived two daughters, Melissa (John) Heeney and Amy (David) Coopman of Shawnee, Kan.; a son, Alex (Lisa) Davis of Blue Springs; six grandchildren; two sisters, Marcia Fritz and Polly Tabor, also his sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Hartville Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Durbin Cemetery near Hartville under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Hartville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 24 2024, at Hartville Free Will Baptist Church.
