John Laverne Davis, 77, of Hartville, died Saturday, May 11, 2024, at The Cottages assisted living home in Shawnee, Kan.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa (John) Heeney and Amy (David) Coopman of Shawnee, Kan.; a son, Alex (Lisa) Davis of Blue Springs; six grandchildren; two sisters, Marcia Fritz and Polly Taber.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Hartville Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Durbin Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Hartville. Memorial contributions to the Durbin Cemetery and the Hartville Community Betterment Foundation may be made through the funeral home.
