Joseph Warren “Joe” Kennedy, 75 of Laquey, a United States Army veteran, died Monday, June 17, 2024, in his home.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Kennedy of the home; three children: Julia Fox (Mike) of Laquey, Sarah Moon (Timothy) of Rolla, and William “Billy” Kennedy (Susan) of Edgar Springs; sixteen grandchildren, Niyana Fox, Josh Fox (Megan), Caitlyn Shepard (Austin), Victoria Eddy (Jay), Morgan Moon, Jared Moon, Blaze Moon, TJ Crossland, Ryan Kennedy, Alyssa Kennedy, Kelsea Moreland (Will), Lauryn Majtas (Joe), Kaytlyn Ballard, Mariah Flowers (Joey), Maranda Warnol (Chad) and Makayla Cobb (Ryan); several great grandchildren with three on the way; brother, David Kennedy (Virginia) of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Cindy Brown of Candler, N.C.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held at noon Thursday, June 20, 2024, in the Berean Baptist Church of Waynesville. Burial with full military honors was in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until time of service at noonThursday, June 20, 2024, in the Berean Baptist Church of Waynesville.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joe Kennedy and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
