MABLE "MAXINE" WRIGHT

Mable “Maxine” Wright was born March 7, 1934 in Stoutland, Missouri to Arthur J. Marshall and Marie Houser Marshall. She passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Lebanon at the age of eighty-nine years, seven months and five days.

Maxine was raised in the Stoutland and Lebanon areas. In addition to other places of employment in Lebanon, the majority of her career was at The Durham Company where she spent twenty-one years.

She was a woman of faith and was a member at Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved God and the family has peace knowing she is with Him for eternity.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Leland; her brothers, Raymond, George, and Charles Marshall; two sisters, Lavonna McNary and an infant sister, Geneva.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Gleb of Lebanon; her sister, Pauline Rector of Lebanon; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Maxine enjoyed gaming and playing cards with her sister, brother and sister-in-law. She also went to Branson with her daughter and sister when she could and liked going to the shows there. She loved going to Padre Island with her siblings. The warm, Texas air and beach breeze made her very happy.

She loved her family very much and looked forward to times they could spend together. Maxine will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home with burial in Lebanon Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Lebanon V.F.W. No. 4107 and donations may be made through the funeral home.
