Margaret (Jane) Newell Owen, 75, of Long Lane, was born April 30, 1949, in Salem to Frank and Margaret (Weeks) Wright and died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
She is survived by her husband Michael of the home; three siblings, Dan Wright of Columbia, Susan and Sam Allen of Lebanon, and John and Terry Wright of Springfield; three sons, Jeff and Monica Owen of Preston, Jeremy and Staci Owen of Cross Timbers and Alex and Sammi Owen of Urbana; and 14 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
