Marilyn Kay Moore 78, of Nixa, was born Nov. 7, 1945, in Springfield to Alva Ray Patterson and Virginia Louise (Hall) Patterson and died, Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. She is survived by her son Michael David Moore of Springfield and a daughter, Jennifer Lea Schowengerdt of Nixa; son-in-law, Todd Schowengerdt; two grandchildren and a step-grandson Lance Schowengerdt of Nixa; three siblings, Patricia Cox of Lee’s Summit, Michael Ray Patterson of Springfield, and Kathy Wilson of Buffalo. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
